Do you recommend a safety switch to protect new circuits in my home?
Short and Simple, YES! A safety switch detects when there are problems within the circuit and automatically disconnects the power running through that circuit to avoid any further dangers being present to you.
Do I need to upgrade my protective devices?
This depends, if you are experiencing faults within your home or have an older switchboard with outdated fuses/switches protecting existing circuits, then we would recommend consulting with one of our electricians.
Faulty, outdated switchboards and internal gear can lead to detrimental outcomes to valuables inside and outside of the home.
How important is surge protection and do I already have it in my switchboard?
You most likely do not have surge protection in your switchboard and it is extremely important and inexpensive to have installed. More often than not, replacing appliances after a surge far outweighs the cost of installing surge protection to begin with.
